Potion Permit Materials Guide - cover

Our Potion Permit Materials Guide will tell you how to get the Materials you need to craft powerful Potions, whether you're selling them or using them to heal people in Moonbury.

How Potion Permit Materials Work

Potion Permit Materials are fairly straightforward to understand -- here's what you need to know:

  • Each Material can be harvested from a Plant, a Tree, a Rock, or a Monster in the wilderness.
    • Plants always drop Materials. Trees, Rocks, and Monsters have a chance (but no guarantee) to drop Materials.
  • There are a finite number of Materials you can harvest each day, regardless of the source. However, the Materials respawn the following day.
  • Each Material is affiliated with one of four Elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, or Water.
    • Some Potions can not be crafted with certain Elements.
  • Each Material fills in 1-4 spaces on the Potion crafting grid in the Cauldron.
  • Materials cannot be rotated in the Cauldron.

Of course, you'll need to find Materials before you can use them in your Potion-making -- read on to see where you can get them.
