There are six Kyber bricks to unlock in each level of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. One for completing the level, three for filling up the stud gauge all the way to True Jedi, one for collecting all minikits and one for completing all three level challenges. In this guide, we'll show you how to get all of the minikits and challenges, as well as outline what characters are unlocked by completing the level Better Call Maul in Episode I.

Better Call Maul Minikit Locations: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Towards the end of the level when Darth Maul runs off into the laser doors, you should see one of the square panels in the floor is different to the others. If you attack it, it'll reveal a grappling spot that you can use to get the minikit. Note: This requires you to be in free play as a character with a grappling ability.

On the upper catwalk to the right from where you started you'll find this minikit floating high above an empty platform. Smash the stuff cluttering up the platform and build the four buttons. You'll need to get the boxes from the nearby lift, and use the force to bring them over to this platform. You'll only need two, since your other character can stand on one of the buttons, but be careful. It's easy to destroy the boxes and you only have 3 in total, so make sure you don't drop them. Remember to set them down rather than throwing them.

At the start of the level, after you've fended off Darth Maul for the first time, you can turn around to the area behind where you started the level. In this alcove is a jumping puzzle that requires you to force pull several platforms down so you can clamber up them. At the top you'll find your minikit.

In the final section of the level where you're fighting Darth Maul, you can drop down inside the big hole in the ground to find another minikit hiding. You can either use the ledges around the edge to get it, or just take a leap of faith. It'll only cost you a few studs anyway.

Better Call Maul Minikit #5

There are 5 cleaning droids spread amongst the catwalks where you fight Darth Maul in the beginning of the level. You can find the first one next to the lift that Maul first uses to escape you. The next can be found when you face off against Maul on the walkway above. Take control of Obi Wan and ignore your enemy completely and start moving towards the camera. You should be able to follow the walkway around and find another cleaning droid. After you chase Maul down to the bottom again, keep gong until he blocks your path. Head onto the left catwalk to find the next cleaning droid, then up the lift nearby for another. The final one is on the opposite side of Darth Maul, but you'll need to pass him from a distance to avoid continuing the fight.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Better Call Maul Level Challenges

  • Complete Maul-ing - For this challenge, you'll need to eliminate Darth Maul in under 10 minutes, but it's not much of a challenge as long as you focus on hunting him down rather than exploring the level.
  • Forced Out - Push 5 droids off of the walkway with your force powers. Literally, just hold the force button to pick them up, then aim off the ledge and tap the right trigger to chuck them.
  • Odds Stacked in your Favour - Towards the end of the level when Darth Maul blocks you from moving forward, use your force powers to lift one of the boxes to the right onto the electrical hazard ahead. Then use it to double jump across to the next platform, skipping a decent chunk of the level.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Better Call Maul Character Unlocks

You'll get quite a few characters for finally putting an end to Darth Maul:

  • Obi-Wan (Episode I)
  • Qui Gon
  • Darth Maul
  • Darth Maul with Hood
  • Droideka
