As ever, the Game Pass lineup for this month contains some games that are launching day and date with the service, as well as others you may not have gotten a chance to try yet. Let's see what you can look forward to in this month's Game Pass trove!

In addition to the above, three games are also heading to Xbox Game Pass Core in April 2024. They're joining the essential tier of the service on April 23rd, and they are as follows.

As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass Core is only available on console, so these games won't be playable on PC. Looking for a more detailed rundown of some of this month's Game Pass highlights? We've got you covered!

Botany Manor - April 9th (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)

Botany Manor's plant-based brain-teasers are the perfect way to wind down.

This rather unique hybrid of immersive sim, puzzle game, and narrative adventure tasks you with growing plants in a beautiful English manor and its surrounding gardens.

You'll need to look for clues in order to discover the best environments in which to grow flowers, and although the plants themselves are fictional, they're all inspired by real-world phenomena, so you might even learn something along the way!

Our very own Samiee enjoyed this one a lot, so give their review a look if you want to know what you're in for.

Harold Halibut - April 16th (PC, Xbox Series X|S, cloud)

Just what is Harold Halibut? Why not sign up to Xbox Game Pass to find out?

Harold Halibut promises to be a rather quirky, once-in-a-lifetime sort of adventure, so if you're in the mood for something a little more unusual, then make sure to download this one.

You play as the titular Harold, and together with the crew of the rather unfortunately-named FEDORA I spacecraft, you must work to help scientist Jeanne Mareaux find a new home for humanity.

You might want to check this one out in motion, since screenshots arguably can't really do it justice. Take a look!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes finally launches in April.

The long-awaited spiritual sequel to the Suikoden games finally arrives in April, unfortunately preceded by the untimely passing of its creator Yoshitaka Murayama.

While Murayama sadly didn't get to see his creation come to fruition, playing it will be the perfect way to pay tribute to him and his legacy, and you can do so on PC, on Xbox consoles, and via the cloud.

Another Crab's Treasure - April 25th (PC, console, cloud)

Another Crab's Treasure should be the perfect antidote to grimdark Soulslike fatigue.

Do you feel like Soulslikes are borrowing from the same cheat sheet too often? Fallen kingdoms, tortured knights, elliptical storytelling...is it all getting a bit too much for you?

If so, then you'll want to take a look at Another Crab's Treasure, a decidedly more lighthearted take on the formula. It's still got all the same exploration, boss encounters, and tricky combat you love in Soulslikes, but in a more whimsical package that takes influence from 3D platformers.

Manor Lords (Game Preview) - April 26th (PC)

Prefer your games with a little more thinking than action? Try Manor Lords.

Another game that's been a long time in the making, Manor Lords is a medieval strategy sim that shows a ton of promise. It promises complex social and economic simulations, as well as "in-depth city building" and "large-scale tactical battles".

Manor Lords is all about historical accuracy; its developers say the game is inspired by "the art and architecture of late 14th-century Franconia", and it's designed to prioritize accuracy wherever possible.

That's all she wrote for Xbox Game Pass April 2024 games! Stay tuned for anything that gets added last-minute, and make sure to check back in May, when we'll have even more Game Pass shenanigans for you.
