According to a press release, Daemonhunters will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor as a strategic turn-based tactical game. It'll feature a full story-driven campaign in which you must lead a squad of Grey Knights, the secretive chapter of the Space Marines sworn to battle the Chaos Gods. Your Grey Knight squad will battle a galaxy-wide conspiracy to infect numerous worlds with the cosmic plague known as the Bloom. The story will be written by Horus Heresy novelist Aaron Dembski-Bowden, with the devs promising a compelling narrative set in the "grimdark universe" of Warhammer 40k.
Gameplay-wise, Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters will allow you to choose from a series of powerful character classes and weapon types, including the iconic Nemesis Force halberd and the Storm Bolter. You'll be able to use the environment around you to your advantage when battling your enemies, but you'll have to play smart, because the enemy will exploit mistakes ruthlessly. We'll doubtless learn more about the gameplay for Daemonhunters in the coming weeks and months.

Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters will be releasing in 2022.
