It's time to stock up on new weapons and bring your favorite character on the ride of a lifetime, as Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell is the first DLC to come to Vampire Survivors.
The bullet-hell action roguelike has drummed up some hype over the last few months, being both addictive and fun. Since its full release in October 2022, Vampire Survivors has had about 30,000 concurrent players take on the creatures of the night. With the hype, the devs decided it is time to add some new content to keep things spicy. Legacy of Moonspell brings new characters, new monsters, new items, and even a new stage.
The map that has been added is called MT. Moonspell; it is the game's biggest stage to date, sporting different environments sprawled out over the giant area. Each new environment has its own challenges, enemies, and terrain. As if new maps weren't enough, there are new characters being added as well. This includes Syuuto Moonspell, a banished practitioner who studies the New Moon's dark magic, but seems to have extremely poor personal hygiene.. which could be why they were banished in the first place.
On top of an array of new characters comes new weapons to bring into battle, including the Silver Wand, Four Seasons, Summon Night, and the Mirage Robe. Each of the new weapons comes with a unique set of abilities to utilize during battle to turn the tide on the horde of miscreants running at you full speed to suck the life force out of your body. With your soul and blood on the line, of course, you would only want the best of the best weapons, right?
As of right now, there is no set release date for Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell, but the developers say it is coming soon.
