An Uncharted 4 PC release is in development over at PlayStation Studios; soon, it will be joining the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone on a new platform.

As gaming industry tweeter @Wario64 spotted, a new document from Sony Investor Relations reveals that a PC port of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is currently listed as "planned" alongside Days Gone. Check out the slide in question for yourself:

This slide from a recent Sony Investor Relations document indicates that a PC port of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is planned.

It's not yet clear which storefront will get the Uncharted 4 PC release. Considering that PlayStation Studios has its own franchise page on Steam — which already lists Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn — I wouldn't be surprised to see it debut on this storefront as well.

Sony has had an increasing focus on bringing its games to other platforms; a recent corporate strategy meeting indicated that it was also looking to expand into mobile gaming. The very next page of the document (Page 27) also lists Horizon: Forbidden West and Spider-Man: Miles Morales in the "Cloud" section, suggesting that Sony might be bringing these games to its existing cloud services or debuting a new one for next-gen games.

We're not quite certain how involved Naughty Dog might be with this PC port. Earlier this year, a series of promotions took place at Naughty Dog for an "unannounced project," speculated by many to be The Last of Us 2 multiplayer. A later report from Bloomberg, however, indicates that a team at Naughty Dog was supervising a project in the Uncharted universe — that may very well be the PC port in question.

The reveal of an Uncharted 4 PC release is certainly surprising, but it wasn't the only new thing that we learned — there's another interesting detail amongst the many slides of this new report.

Uncharted 4 PC release God of War Ragnarok

God of War: Ragnarok is the Next God of War Game

Aside from the Uncharted 4 PC release reveal, @SirMammothy on Twitter pointed out another slide in the report with something interesting: the next God of War game is apparently titled God of War: Ragnarok.

It was all but certain that this was going to be the name of the next game — the teaser trailer at last year's PS5 showcase simply stated "Ragnarok is coming." That said, there was technically no official announcement about the game's title until now.

When is the Uncharted 4 PC Release Date?

Unfortunately, we don't know the Uncharted 4 PC release date just yet. That said, we might be able to make a guess based on previous game announcements.

PlayStation Head Jim Ryan first revealed the PC port of Days Gone back in late February 2021; that game eventually launched on Steam on May 18, 2021. Similarly, Horizon Zero Dawn's PC version was revealed in early March 2020 and was later released on Steam on August 7, 2020.

What this means is that Sony's PC ports have had a timeframe of anywhere from 2 1/2–5 months between the official announcement and release, although we can't quite say for certain that the inclusion of the Uncharted 4 PC release in this document would count as an "official announcement." That said, Sony probably wouldn't publish something like this in an Investor Relations document unless it was well underway; we may very well get to play Uncharted 4: A Thief's End on PC before the end of 2021.
