If you decide to pre-order the game you'll receive the Victoria 2 remastered soundtrack as a bonus, which is a neat inclusion that series fans will enjoy. Let's take a look at what Victoria 3 has to offer, shall we?

What is Victoria 3 and why should I care about the Victoria 3 release date?

Victoria 3 is a strategy title and a simulation of the 19th century. Players will have to try and balance the many competing interests of their society in order to become something worthwhile during the course of the tumultuous 1800s. Players can choose to lead dozens of world nations from 1836-1936, and if you want to play through the next few years after that, you might want to switch over to Hearts of Iron IV, which takes place during World War II.

Like many other Paradox titles, there's also a deep economic system that will allow players to secure vital goods to cover their basic needs and help play out the their desires on a grand global stage. Diplomacy is essential to fulfill the player's needs and wants, and in order to do so, threats, military prowess, and bluffs will be required.

If players pre-order the Victoria 3 Grand Edition for $79.99, they'll get some extra content including access to a yet-to-be-announced Victoria 3 expansion, as well as an American buildings pack and several other additional content packs. Is that worth an extra 20 dollarydoos? If you plan on playing Victoria 3 for many years to come, it just might be. Either way, you can decide whether you want to drop a pre-order or not over on Steam.
