Kerbal Space Program 2

Kerbal Space Program 2 is coming close to its launch in early access, and Intercept Games released a new trailer for the upcoming sequel.

The trailer showcases a cute animation that is part of a series of tutorial videos that will help with the onboarding experience while also teaching a variety of basic scientific concepts relevant to the game.

The videos serve only as an introduction and are followed by interactive tutorials that will get players acquainted with the actual gameplay.

You can watch it below.

Kerbal Space Program 2 is the sequel of the original Kerbal Space Program, launched for PC in 2015 and then landed on pretty much every available platform excluding the switch over the years, culminating for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version in 2021.

The new game is "fully redesigned from the ground up" and promises plenty of new features. According to the developers, updates throughout the early access period will bring a "whole new set of next-generation tools and technology including new engines, parts, fuel, and much more."

This will bring forth the exploration of new star systems and the creation of colonies, where players will be able to build "structures, space stations, habitations, and unique fuel types." When a colony becomes advanced enough, it can launch its own spacecraft to extend the range of space exploration even further.

Among the new star systems available there'll be "Charr, a heat-blasted world of iron," "Ovin, a ringed super-Earth with relentless gravity," and "Rask and Rusk, a binary pair locked in a dance of death."

Kerbal Space Program 2 will release in early access for PC on 24 February, 2023.
