Today Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the release date of the next DLC character that will come to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R.
We already knew that the next character to join the roster of the game is Keicho Nijimura, a villain in Diamond is Unbreakable and Okuyasu Nijimura's older brother. Today we learn that he'll launch on March 24. The wait will be shorter if you have the season pass, as you'll get early access to Keicho on March 22.
He's the third DLC character part of the season pass of the game. The first character, Risotto Nero, and the second, Rudol Von Stroheim, have already been released, while we're waiting to learn more about a fourth character that will be announced at some point in the future.
To accompany the character, we get a trailer showing off Keicho in action, including his stand Bad Company. You can watch it below.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
If you're unfamiliar with this fighting game, it's a remaster with plenty of additional content of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, which originally launched for PlayStation 3 in 2013 in Japan and in 2014 in North America and Europe
As you may probably guess, it's the latest adaptation of the ultra-popular manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki, which first appeared in Weekly Shounen Jump in 1987. It has since sparked the release of a popular anime series, OVA, movies, spin-offs, and video games.
The game includes plenty of characters from many of the story arcs of the manga/anime, from the oldest to some of the newest, including the recently-aired Stone Ocean.
