Get ready for some thrilling next-gen racing — Codemasters and EA have announced Grid Legends at EA Play Live 2021, a new game in the Grid franchise that's coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in 2022.

Grid Legends will deliver much of the same entertaining racing as the previous games in the franchise along with some fun new features — check out the Grid Legends Official Reveal Trailer to see it in action!

New to the franchise is an engrossing story mode that's a cut above what we've seen in previous games. Ncuti Gatwa (Sex EducationStonemouth) and others will form the cast in scenes filmed with the same kind of virtual set technology used in The Mandalorian.

What about gameplay, though? Well, longtime fans will be happy to hear that drifting is returning to Grid Legends. Naturally, the Grid World Series, a bunch of racing modes, and a race creator will be featured in this game, too. Players can compete on over 130 routes — including real-life tracks such as Brands Hatch and Indianapolis — using over 100 upgradeable vehicles.
