Paradox Interactive released another new video about the free update coming with the Tours and Tournaments DLC for Crusader Kings III.

Every major DLC released for the game is usually accompanied by a major update, and that's exactly what this video is all about. While you need to pay if you want the features included in the DLC, everyone who has the base game gets the features showcased today with no additional purchase required.

These include regencies, an overhaul of activities, vassal stances, man-at-arms stationing, an economy map mode, and an overhaul of the barber shop that also works as a sort of photo mode for your characters.

You can watch the video explaining them all below.

If you'd like to see more, you can also enjoy more videos offering a full breakdown of the DLC, on top of a look at the  titular tournaments, falconry huntsgrand weddings, murder feasts, grand tours, and knightly accolades.

At present, Crusader Kings III is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. However, it should be noted that the content for the console versions lags behind by a few months. Due to that, the upcoming DLC, Tours & Tournaments, will initially launch solely for PC on May 11, 2023, with the console release scheduled for a later date.

With Tours & Tournaments, your ruler can embark on a journey to tour their kingdom, partake in tournaments, arrange grand weddings, confer accolades upon your knights, and collect new art pieces.

Incidentally, if you're interested in Paradox's games, during the same event in which this DLC was announced, the prolific publisher revealed quite a lot more games and expansions, including a sequel to the fan-favorite Cities: Skylines

You can also take a look at my recent review of Age of Wonders 4, which just brought the storied 4X franchise back to its original fantasy setting.
