Ritual of the Night

A Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's Classic Mode delay has been announced, meaning it won't release until January 2021. It was previously announced to release in Q3 2020. Check out the tweet below:

The Classic Mode--as described above--has players fighting through five levels of demons and fighting "deadly bosses." Instead of the metroidvania design of the main Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Classic Mode, will aim to be more like the NES and SNES Castlevania games, progressing through the games a level at a time with a focus on linear action. It will be free to download for all players, so for all those polishing their whips there's no need to worry. Stay calm.

On the official Bloodstained discord the developers released a statement:

Hi, everyone. We have moved the next game update to January. This will give us extra time for testing and allow for a simultaneous launch across more platforms and regions, including Switch. Additionally, by publishing in the new year, the team will not be on holiday should any issues arise. More news in January! Thank you for playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night! Happy Holidays. #BloodstainedROTN

That makes sense. More time for testing and a simultaneous launch is always good, especially considering how buggy the original release of the game was. Even then, though, everyone loved it, and it's only gotten better over time. Like red wine or a miserable pile of secrets.

If you have been dying to play Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, it's currently on sale via Steam for a cool $15.99, so be sure to send your American dollarydoos that way if you're interested. For all your Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night news, stay tuned to TechRaptor for more details.
