City 20 is a survival sandbox adventure created by Untold Games where the NPCs will change the world in response to the actions you take.
The titular City 20 is a "secret city" that was involved with nuclear materials. An unfortunate radiation leak has led to a permanent quarantine of the city and its surrounding area, and you are now stuck within these confines along with a few dozen other denizens of this doomed town.
Despite this disaster, you'll still need to survive. Food, water, and shelter are as critical as ever, along with more advanced needs such as safety and electricity. You'll be able to do some things yourself, but you'll ultimately need to rely on your fellow inhabitants to get things done.
The NPCs are where the real magic of City 20 will happen. These NPCs (and the factions they belong to) will react to your decisions in positive or negative ways. Should you harvest too much of a particular resource, you may find that the resulting shortage causes trouble for everyone.
Speaking of trouble, you'll also have to be careful about how you interact with the community. The citizens are split into factions, and helping one faction could very well come at the expense of another. Even a morally good choice might end up causing some negative consequences for you to deal with.
This same theme of choices and consequences extends from the city as a whole down to the individual citizens. Tamper with the local power grid and the citizens will not only work hard to bring it back online — they'll place it under guard to prevent another instance of sabotage.
The NPCs themselves will respond in kind. Steal from a shopkeeper and he will beef up security so it doesn't happen again — even if you weren't caught. (After all, the mysterious disappearance of scarce resources will naturally put anyone on edge).
The choices you make will affect the world around you in many ways — some predictable, some not. Combine these reactive systems with a population of randomized NPCs and City 20 promises that each playthrough will be a truly unique experience.
