If you played or wanted to play Evolve's alpha in October, mark this date on the calendar: 15th january 2015. That day, you'll be able to play Evolve's open beta. Given that you own a Xbox One of course. The open beta test for Evolve, will be exclusive on the Microsoft platform. Other platform owners will be able to try the game as well, but only during limited timespans and will not be open to everybody.

Starting January 15th, Xbox One users will be able to play Evolve's "Hunt" mode with the monsters and hunters that were available during the playable alpha. From the 17h they'll be able to play the "Evacuation" mode. All the progress obtained during the beta period, will carry to the full game when it releases.

PC and PS4 owners will be able to join the technical test starting January 16th (for PC players) and January 17th (for PS4 players). All the users who were invited to play the big alpha, can partecipate to the technical tests. Steam users that have Bioshock Infinite or Left 4 Dead in their game libraries, will also be suitable to play the closed tests.

The PC and PS4 closed technical tests will only feature the "Hunt" mode and the progress made in that period will not carry to the full release of the game.

Evolve will launch on February 10th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
