The Witcher Bishoujo Geralt Figure

Japanese manufacturer Kotobukiya has released new figures dedicated to The Witcher franchise, but at least one of them is not what you may expect.

Within its well-known Boshoujo series, Kotobukiya will release a female version of Geralt of Rivia, sculpted by Yoshiki Fujimoto from the beautiful art by Shunya Yamashita that characterizes this kind of figure.

The scale is 1/7 and she's approximately 229mm tall. She will release in February 2024. On top of Geralt, we're also getting Ciri, albeit we just see her art for now and she gets to keep her original gender.

To celebrate the reveal, Kotobukiya released a new trailer, showing off the figure from all angles. Pre-orders aren't available just yet.

Here's how the figure is described by Kotobukiya itself.

The dark fantasy realm of CD PROJEKT RED’s acclaimed RPG series The Witcher joins the BISHOUJO lineup! And the first statue in this series will be… Geralt of Rivia!? Designed by Shunya Yamashita, this legendary witcher has received an unexpected makeover into a beautiful female form. Now she comes to life, ready to unsheath her silver sword and cast Igni on her foes. The statue has been meticulously modeled by none other than sculptor Yoshiki Fujimoto — pay close attention to the details of the armor, finished with realistic textures in mind. The surface of every leather piece has been adjusted to have a different ruggedness, and has been carefully sculpted down to each sewn seam. The slightly metallic finish of the paint gives the glimmering chainmail a realistic presence.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It has sold over 50 million copies, while the whole franchise is at over 75 million.

CD Projekt RED is currently working on a new game of the series, and we have recently learned that over 220 developers are now employed in its creation, with that number still growing.
