Ubisoft's 2019 announced Roller Champions made a return today, with a video showcasing new gameplay and the Roller Champions closed alpha. The gameplay was all recorded by players who have been playtesting for Ubisoft and were picked from the E3 2019 showings highest scoring lists.

Beyond the brand new gameplay, Ubisoft announced the Roller Champions closed alpha, coming March 11 and lasting until March 23. There are a limited number of slots available per region, so if you're interested you'll want to hurry over to Ubisoft's page and sign up. If you miss out - don't worry - there's the chance for the closed beta later this year before the game releases as well.

If you're not up to playing quite yet but want to know what's going on, the closed alpha will bring with it a new map, including curvature, elevation, environmental hazards and more for the biggest arena seen so far - Chichén Itzá. Beyond that, the closed alpha will also have over 70 ways to customize your avatar, and all new moves.
