Please read these Terms of Service (additionally “Terms”, “Terms of Use”, or “Terms and Conditions”) before using the TechRaptor Site, including the forums or comment sections. . As used herein, "we," "us" and "our" refers to TechRaptor LLC. (“TechRaptor”)

By using or accessing TechRaptor in any way, viewing or browsing the Site, or adding your own content to the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Intellectual Property

The Site and all of its original content, including images, videos, audio, and articles, are the sole property of TechRaptor LLC and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.

Images may be used outside of the site with linked attribution, and snippets of articles with a link back to the original source may be used as well, but full text copies are not to be republished without our express written permission. Images may be used with proper attribution.

This website (TechRaptor) represents a range of different viewpoints, and particular articles published on our website may not reflect each staff member’s own views and opinions.

User Accounts

To use certain optional features of TechRaptor, users may be given the opportunity to create user accounts with passwords. In doing so, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of your user account information and password(s) and you agree not to use your user account(s) or password(s) for any unauthorized or illegal purpose. By creating any user account, you also  certify that you are at least thirteen (13) years of age.

You are responsible for actions undertaken by those using your user account(s) and password(s). TechRaptor, at its sole discretion, may suspend or terminate your user account(s) for any reason without notice, including but not limited to if you or anyone using your user account(s) violates or attempts to violate these Terms of Service.

If you are determined to be a repeat infringer, TechRaptor may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate your user account(s). You may be determined to be a repeat infringer if TechRaptor determines that you have posted or transmitted infringing User Content more than once, and received warnings of violation of the Terms of Service.

User Content and Comments

TechRaptor offers readers an opportunity to transmit or post text, videos, photographs, images, sound files and/or other content to the TechRaptor website(s) via the comment section and may provide for the hosting, sharing and/or publishing of such User Content. TechRaptor does not necessarily endorse, support, sanction, encourage, or agree with User Content and expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with any User Content.

  5. includes advertisements or solicitations of business;  
  6. impersonates another person;  
  7. includes any person's full name or personal or identifying information without that person's authorization; or  
  8. violates the law or otherwise violates these Terms of Service.

In connection with any User Content you publish or submit - you affirm, represent, and/or warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and/or permissions to use and grant TechRaptor the use of those rights as well.

You understand that all User Content is the sole responsibility of the person who posts that User Content. This means that you, and not the TechRaptor, are entirely responsible for all User Content that you post and accept the consequences of TechRaptor potentially republishing such User Content. TechRaptor does not and cannot review every piece of User Content transmitted or posted by users and is not responsible for such content. But, TechRaptor does have the right, but not the obligation, to refuse, remove, or edit any User Content that violates these Terms of Service or is otherwise objectionable, as determined by us in our sole discretion and without notice, although TechRaptor will make an effort to notify you. Any specific complaints regarding User Content must be directed to complaints@techraptor.net, and any promise by TechRaptor to investigate, delete, remove, or otherwise edit any User Content shall be non-binding unless expressly provided in writing by the CEO, Editors, or Community Managers of the site.

You agree to indemnify TechRaptor and each of its respective partners, editors, managers, contractors, agents and representatives, against, and to hold each of them harmless from, any and all claims and liabilities (including attorney's fees) that may arise from your use of TechRaptor, your transmission or posting of User Content, your unauthorized use of material obtained from TechRaptor, your breach of these Terms of Service, your violation of any law, regulation or any right of any other person or entity, and any unauthorized use of your account or password. TechRaptor reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter which is subject to indemnification in this section. In such a case, you agree that you will cooperate with any reasonable requests assisting our defense of such matter.

TechRaptor is dedicated to privacy and ensuring our users are safe on the site, which is why we only work with specific companies when it comes to collecting data about our readers and how they use the site. This information is essential to improving the layout, efficiency, and features of TechRaptor over time, and we make an effort to limit the number we use.

In using TechRaptor, the reader understands that some demographic data will be collected for the purposes of advertisement, and that TechRaptor uses cookies for logins to ensure certain functionalities on the website.

TechRaptor does not sell or share user account information, such as e-mail, name, or anything entered into our membership systems.

Should you wish to have your user account removed from TechRaptor, you can e-mail privacy@techraptor.net to have that done. For removal from Google Analytics, Alexa, Insticator, or Quantcast - they each have their own ways of requesting removal.
