Do you really need a Core i7-6700K for your next gaming rig build when an i5-6600K would suffice? The question intensifies when both processors drop to their lowest prices ever. This weekend on Monoprice's eBay page they're hawking the cheapest Core i5-6600K and i7-6700K CPUs to date with drops to $209.99 and $299.99 respectively. Monoprice may be listing "limited quantity available" for sale, but we think the offers are likely to last through the weekend.

In other hot hardware tech deals this weekend, two popular LG 34-inch UltraWide monitors are getting huge price drops from BuyDig. The once-upon-a-time $800 1440p LG 34UM95-C is only $495 after coupon which is an all new low. Also making it's lowest price ever is the slightly lower-res LG 34UM57 UltraWide falling to only $299.99 on BuyDig's eBay page (a price they curiously don't show on their own retail site).

In the gaming world, several deals cropped up at GMG for the weekend. Most notably The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition released today on PC and is 40% cheaper at GMG compared to Bethesda with a drop to only $39.99 (requires login to see the discount). Also available is a 19% off discount on the newly released Project Highrise, a title with a clear nod to SimTower.

Finally, Overwatch is free to play this weekend for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Unfortunately no demo weekend for PC gamers, but the Origins Edition is on sale at official Battle.net shop plus GMG (for a slightly bigger 25% off). Continuing with the freebie theme, don't miss out on Humble Bundle's nice offering of a freebie copy of Tropic 4 for Steam.
