Sunday April 19, Phil Spencer spent some time talking to people on twitter about various topics, one of which was Microsoft's plans for E3. Spencer wants to focus on first party games for Microsoft's E3 Press Conference. He also teased a new exclusive IP reveal for E3.

Spencer was quick to assure people that he did not mean his tweet to put down third party publishers saying, "And to be clear we will have 3rd party deals, it's just, imo, important to focus on and support our 1st party."

He later mentioned that today would be a full day of content review for E3 to look at everything that they might want to showcase. Judging from his tweets we can expect a game filled E3 from Microsoft, who're clearly still feeling the sting of the dissatisfaction over their 2013 E3. This push from Microsoft to focus on games will hopefully remedy the drought of "next gen defining" games for the Xbox One.

During his conversations on twitter he also mentioned Windows 10 streaming saying, "Yep, XB1 owners will be able to stream their games to their home win10 pcs, at no extra cost." This was in response to a user saying that all first party Xbox One games will end up on PC. He did not mention whether Windows 10's gaming capabilities would be a part of the E3 conference, but hopefully we will get a better look at them soon considering Windows 10 is slated for release sometime this summer; maybe even late July according to who transcribed an earnings call by AMD CEO Lisa Su who said, "With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season,"

In any case E3 looks to be shaping up as a win for gamers. Are you happy with Microsoft's plans for E3? What new exclusive do you think Microsoft has up it's sleeve?
