Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
The Lands of Ruin Kickstarter is now fully funded and has about 2 days left. The post-apocalyptic skirmish game is unique in the tabletop scene for integrating technology into its gameplay through a tablet app that handles most of the game’s more complex interactions. The game also features AI-controlled NPCs and a much more robust secret order system than current games use. Take a look at their Kickstarter campaign page for more information.

Privateer Press will be holding a Reddit AMA today at 11AM PST to go over their Kickstarter campaign for Widower’s Wood. The campaign has currently raised over $251,000 USD and has 12 days left.
Wyrd Games is currently looking for playtesters for The Other Side, a new miniatures game for the Malifaux universe taking place on Earth. The game will be a larger scale, both in model count and board size, than Malifaux currently is. The game is still early in the testing process, so expect a great deal of changes throughout the testing cycle. Playtesters will also be working under an NDA, so don’t expect any information on the game to be leaked during testing.
Games Workshop recently announced more Skaven goodness for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Battletome: Skaven Pestilens is currently up for pre-order and will be available in stores on March 12th. The company also released two new Start Collecting! boxes for both Clan Pestilens and the Skeleton Horde. Both boxes start at $85 USD, and both are an absolute steal. The Skeleton Horde box comes with a Mortarch model (costs $80 USD), 5 Black Knights (costs $33 USD), and 10 Skeleton Warriors (costs $24.75 USD). That box alone is a saving of over $50 USD!

Forge World recently announced a contest going on throughout the month, giving players the chance to win a Warhound Titan, a Reaver Titan, or even a colossal Warlord Titan. The contest rules are quite simple: make a purchase of £100 GBP or more and send in both the name for your new Titan and a 400 word blurb about how your Titan earned its name. The contest ends on March 31st at 11:59 GMT.
And finally, in Infinity news, the Operation: Flamestrike campaign run by Beasts of War is moving along rapidly. The campaign, which will help determine future events in the Infinity universe, gained over 2,000 players in the first 48 hours. The player count completely blew past original estimates of 1,000 players throughout the entire campaign. The campaign will run for 10 weeks (9 currently remaining) and players can jump in at any time. Be sure to join in and help make your mark on the Human Sphere today!
