Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
First up is Corvus Belli’s announcement today regarding Human Sphere N3, the long-awaited expansion for their popular skirmish game Infinity. Pre-orders for the book are live as of today and will continue until April 27th. People who pre-order the expansion before the April 27th deadline will also get an exclusive Druze Hacker miniature along with their book. Lucky fans going to Adepticon this year will also be able to buy the book and the model directly, while supplies last. US players, check with your local FLGS for pre-orders, as ordering directly from Corvus Belli may be a bit pricey.

Next up is quite a bit from Games Workshop. The Grand Alliance: Order book for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar is currently available for pre-order, along with four new Khorne models as well. The Slaughterpriest, Exalted Deathbringer, and Aspiring Deathbringer is also available for pre-order, with the book and models themselves available on April 2nd.
The company also announced a large range of models from the various Order factions were added to the “Last Chance to Buy” section of the site, including the entire Bretonnian model range. Sadly, that particular faction has completely sold out with only the compendium .pdf available. Be sure to check out the models and bundles still available, as there is no guarantee they’ll be around for much longer. The future of these models and ranges is still unknown, unfortunately.
In a surprising change in the company’s customer relation policy (which previously did not exist), Games Workshop is currently asking the player base for Warhammer 40,000 rules questions and clarifications to answer in upcoming FAQs via their Facebook page. Not only is it news that the Facebook page exists in an official capacity, but that the company is asking for customer input. Games Workshop had a Facebook page a while back, but it was shut down after a brief time due to the massive amount of vitriol and nerd rage that swamped any meaningful discussion. The current admins have done a good job thus far of keeping things contained, but only time will tell how long the page will last.
Forge World recently announced new heavy weapon packs for their line of Horus Heresy models. The packs contain 5 heavy weapons and accessories for various types, including heavy bolters, plasma cannons, autocannons, and much more.
And finally, Privateer Press recently announced a new model for Hordes. The Minion Blind Walker is a large gator that can act as a necromantic conduit. This is a single plastic model on a 55mm base with a tentative release date of March 31st and a price tag of $39.99 USD.
