Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
First up is quite a few news bits from Corvus Belli. The company recently posted an article on their website discussing Warcors and their overall role in the Infinity community. The company is also hosting a giveaway today to help celebrate Chinese New Year, giving away a Yu Jing Guijia TAG. The contest only lasts throughout February 8th, so be sure to enter if you haven’t already!
The registration date for the Interplanetario 2016 tournament was recently announced. Registration will open at 3:00 PM GMT on Feburary 29th, 2016. The Interplanetario 2016 is the world’s largest Infinity tournament held in Vigo, Spain taking place August 14th through August 16th. Slots are expected to go quickly, so if you plan on going, make sure you’re camped out in front of your computer on the 29th.
Next up is Games Workshop and Forge World announcing a hefty amount of models and books. On the Forge World front, the company recently announced pre-orders for Skaarac the Bloodborn, the Great Khorgorath. The model itself is huge and looks useable in both Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 as a Greater Daemon Prince.

Games Workshop, not to be outdone, announced multiple releases for the upcoming Space Wolves waves. The company released a model kit for the Wufen, descendants of the 13th Great Company sent into the Warp to track down Magnus the Red during the Horus Heresy. Also up for pre-order is War Zone Fenris: Curse of the Wulfen, a campaign book detailing the return of the Wulfen and the Daemonic incursions that tend to follow their appearance. A standard edition and a collector’s edition are available, though the collector’s edition is in limited supply. The campaign book also contains additional rules for the army, bringing them in line with newer codexes in their Force Organization charts. And rounding out the Space Wolves releases this week is Strike Force Daggerfist, a special bundle only available from the Games Workshop website containing one Murderfang, one set of Wulfen, two sets of Wolf Guard, one Stormfang, three sets of Wolf Guard Terminators, and special formation rules.
Knight Models also released more previews for Marvel Universe Miniature Game, this time focusing on the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers. Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket Racoon, and Drax the Destroyer are featured in the first preview. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow fill out the second. No word yet as to the status of Groot or Hawkeye, however.

And finally, Wyrd Miniatures has continued with their Malifaux Monday Previews, this time focusing on the Carrion Emissary. A Resurrectionist character, the company promises some unique skills to help players secure victory for Malifaux’s necromancers.
