A new indie TTRPG adventure is coming soon to Kickstarter. Both Zinequest and Cat Sith Press will be introducing prospective players to a classic dungeon crawl adventure with a haunted house twist: The Haunting of Abimond Manor. Furthermore, it's an adventure that is system agnostic, meaning you can experience this journey in just about any TTRPG system of your choice.

The Haunting of Abimond Manor Kickstarter campaign

According to its official press release, The Haunting of Abimond Manor is an OSR (Old School Revival) dungeon crawl horror fantasy adventure. It centers around the titular Abimond Manor on the outskirts of the village of Wraicdale. The manor is overrun by hordes of the undead and corrupted by dark magic. An adventuring party will have to brave the rooms of the manor, defend themselves against these terrors, and race against time to end the spread of dark magic before it is too late. The adventure was developed by Cat Elm and draws inspiration from The Haunting of Hill House and the one-shot Strahd Must Die Tonight.

As mentioned before, The Haunting of Abimond Manor adventure can be placed into any fantasy adventure setting or system. It can be used either as a sidequest in a larger campaign or a standalone horror adventure. The rules of the adventure are also system-neutral, meaning GMs will need to do a bit of legwork to convert monsters and items. The only restriction is that the system must feature magic, monsters, and traveling adventurers. Like other Zinequest products, The Haunting of Abimond Manor will be released physically. The adventure will be an estimated 24 page-long, including maps, monster and item descriptions, as well as unique artwork. Finally, the unique selling points of the adventure are the time-based restrictions, giving players a sense of urgency, a classic haunted house atmosphere, and three unique animal NPCs that adventurers can potentially befriend.

The Kickstarter campaign for The Haunting of Abimond Manor goes live on February 1 and will conclude on February 21.
