Someone went and decided to break the internet, this time by announcing a cross over between the board game Talisman and the video game series Kingdom Hearts. With the massive resounding success of the recent release of Kingdom Hearts 3, The Op (formerly USAOpoly) has announced a partnership with Games Workshop and will produce a version of the classic board game with many of the characters and themes from the popular video games series titled Talisman: Kingdom Hearts.
Although information on the ground is a little thin on the ground at the moment, we do know that Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will feature many of the main characters from the series, as well as specially designed dice and three regions based on the different location from the Kingdom Hearts series. The cover art for the box appears to be directly taken from the box art for the first game in the series, although it is not known whether the game will take most of its elements from the same game or if the entire series will be used for influence. There will be several elements familiar to many fans of both IP's, including gummi ships, munni and 'Traverse City' (Note: we have to assume they mean traverse town unless this is some sort of board game exclusive lore expansion).
Although there has been no official release dates announced yet there is much speculation that the game will at least be released at some point in 2019. You can check out The Op's website and social media pages to keep up to date with any announcements of further games from the Games Workshop partnership or information about potential release dates.
