Ravensburger has announced a new expansion for Star Wars Villainous. The latest expansion to the asymmetric board game, Star Wars Villainous Revenge at Last, is a small one with two playable characters: Darth Maul and Captain Phasma. But they are sure to bring new variety to the table.

Ravensburger North America announced Star Wars Villainous Revenge at Last via social media post on X (formerly Twitter). The body of the post is direct but bare, stating the expansion includes Darth Maul and Captain Phasma.
The official store page has a bit more info. Like all playable characters in Star Wars Villainous, Darth Maul and Captain Phasma all have unique win and fail conditions, which players must navigate while playing against each other at the table.
Darth Maul's playstyle appears to be focused on weakening and defeating Hero cards. Given Maul's history in the franchise includes surviving out of pure spite to destroy Obi-Wan Kenobi and conquering Mandalore, his ambition certainly matches his reach.
As befitting a First Order officer, Captain Phasma's gameplay is centered on recruiting and training First Order Troopers. A daunting task, but one that can cascade to a decisive victory if you play your cards right.
Star Wars Villainous Revenge at Last is described as an "expandalone" box. You can buy and play the expansion by itself, pitting Darth Maul and Captain Phasma against one another. Or you can mix them with characters from the base game.
Star Wars Villainous Revenge at Last is the second expansion for the game. The Star Wars Villainous base game contained five unique villains including the iconic Darth Vader. The first expansion, Scum and Villainy, brought three villainous bounty hunters to the experience.
It is one of many licensed Star Wars board games currently available. Sitting alongside the dogfighting skirmish game Star Wars X-Wing and the large scale miniatures game, Star Wars Shatterpoint.
