Games Workshop continues to tease its plans for next year. The tabletop publisher has already revealed some new figures coming soon for Warhammer 40k, as well as bringing back several older Space Marine models. But today, the publisher has focused on its other popular tabletop miniatures game with a Warhammer: Age of Sigmar teaser.

The 2023 Warhammer Age of Sigmar teaser

The Warhammer: Age of Sigmar teaser happened in a Warhammer Community post. The announcement confirmed that several new battletomes will be coming out soon. Three of those battletomes, the Slaves to Darkness, Gloomspite Gitz, and Beasts of Chaos, will be available very soon. Games Workshop also stated that five additional battletomes will be coming out in Spring: one for a Grand Alliance Order army, two for Chaos armies, and two for Death armies respectively. As for Summer, a single battletome will be coming out for one of the armies of Order. Given that the teaser trailer in the post showcases the Stormcast Eternals, there's a chance they'll be one of the Order armies getting the new battletome. It would be a welcome update since a lot of Age of Sigmar's recent releases have focused on armies of Destruction, Skavens, and Realm Lords respectively. The trailer also showcased several new models for some of the armies, which means they might be part of a new battlebox in the future.

But the Age of Sigmar teaser didn't just focus on the big miniatures game. Games Workshop also provided a roadmap for Warcry and Warhammer Underworlds as part of their Heart of Ghur season. Starting with Warcry, the smaller skirmish-based spin-off of Age of Sigmar, two new quarterly expansions were announced: Bloodhunt and Nightmare Quest. Not much additional information was given about what these expansions will contain, other than new warbands and terrain. As for fans of Warhammer Underworld fans, a few new additions were highlighted on the roadmap. This includes a new warband coming in February, complimenting the Grinkrak's Looncourt warband that released this month. In addition, a new rivals deck, Beastbound Assault will be coming out in February.
