Welcome to the fifth official day of spoiler season for the newest Magic: The Gathering set, Kaladesh. Wizards of the Coast spoiled a good deal of the set over the weekend as part of their presence at PAX West - if you're just joining us, you can find more information about what's been spoiled by Wizards of the Coast in our previous article.
The first spoiler for the day is an Artifact from Italian website Orgoglionerd; their spoiler is Dynavolt Tower (credit for translation goes to mtgsalvation user Qfx). Dynavolt Tower has a casting cost of three generic mana and gives you two energy counters whenever you cast an Instant or Sorcery spell. By paying five energy counters and tapping Dynavolt Tower, you can have it deal three damage to target creature or player.
Next up is the Black Enchantment Midnight Oil, from this Japanese Magic: The Gathering website (credit for translation goes to mtgsalvation user Marquisd). Midnight Oil has a casting cost of two generic and two Black mana and enters the battlefield with seven time counters on it; your maximum hand size is equal to the number of time counters on Midnight Oil. At the beginning of your draw step, draw an additional card and remove two time counters from Midnight Oil. Every time you discard a card, you lose one life.
Acrobatic Maneuvers is the Asian-Pacific Magic: The Gathering Facebook spoiler (credit for translation again goes to mtgsalvation user Marquisd); it's an Instant-speed spell with a casting cost of two generic and one White mana that exiles target creature you control, and then returns it to the battlefield under its owner's control. You also get to draw a card.
Editor-in-Chief of DailyMTG.com, Blake Rasmussen, posted this next card to his Twitter account. Cloudblazer is a 2/2 Human Scout with the Flying ability word and a casting cost of three generic, one White, and one Blue mana. When it enters the battlefield, you gain two life and draw two cards.
Wizards of the Coast continues to host articles on their spoiler cards on their main site; we have Unlicensed Disintegration from today's article. Unlicensed Disintegration is an Instant-speed spell with a casting cost of one generic, one Black, and one Red mana. It destroys target creature, and if you control an Artifact, that creature's controller takes three damage as well.
Smuggler's Copter is another new Vehicle, this time with Crew 1 and the Flying ability word; whenever it attacks or blocks, you can draw a card. If you do so, discard a card.
Paste Magazine talks about their experiences at PAX West and seeing Wizards of the Coast's Inventors' Fair; they also have a card to show off, the Red InstantWelding Sparks. Welding Sparks costs two generic and one Red mana and deals X damage to target creature, where X is the number of artifacts you control plus three.
Fragmentize is Gathering Magic's spoiler card for the day, a Sorcery spell with a casting cost of one White mana that destroys target Artifact or Enchantment with converted mana cost of four or less.
Magic: The Gathering game store Face to Face Games hosted their spoiler card on their Facebook page; Underhanded Designs is a Black Enchantment with a casting cost of one generic and one Black mana. Whenever an Artifact enters the battlefield under your control, you can pay one generic mana. If you do so, each opponent loses one life and you gain one life. By sacrificing Underhanded Designs and paying one generic and one Black mana, you can destroy target creature - it's important to note that you can only activate this ability if you control two or more Artifacts.
Our final card for the day is from YouTube channel Loading Ready Run; their spoiler card is the Sorcery spell Dubious Challenge. Dubious Challenge has a casting cost of three generic and one Green mana and lets you look at the top ten cards of your library. You choose up to two target creatures and exile them, and then shuffle your library. Target opponent may choose one of the cards you exiled with Dubious Challenge and put it onto the battlefield under their control; the rest go onto the battlefield under your control.
