Another Glorious Day in the Corps

After quite a lengthy wait, Gale Force Nine has announced that its Aliens board game will be launching in October 2020. Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps will finally be available for purchase just in time for Halloween 2020.

If you are somehow unfamiliar with Aliens, it's a thrilling (and terrifying) science fiction franchise about, well, aliens. The terrifying "Xenomorph" creatures began their reign in Alien, terrorizing the crew of the Nostromo before finally being defeated by Ellen Ripley. Ripley later continued her fight against the Xenomorphs in the sequels Aliens and Alien 3.

The Alien franchise has been adapted to video games before — most recently with Alien Isolation on PC and consoles — and tabletop gaming is no stranger to the franchise, either. Now, another excellent Aliens board game will be adding to the franchise's allure this Fall!

What's In Store for the Aliens Board Game?

A Facebook post from Gale Force Nine has all the details about what we can expect for this upcoming game. Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps will let you play as iconic characters from Aliens and give you the opportunity to recreate classic scenes from the film using a quick and easy ruleset. There will, of course, be tons of Xenomorphs for the players to kill.

Two expansions for this game will quickly follow later in the year. Aliens: Ultimate Badasses will add six more characters and new abilities for your fighters. That will be followed by the hilariously titled Aliens: Get Away From Here, You B***h! which will bring in even more new gameplay; players can play as the Alien Hive, recreate the awesome duel between Ripley and the Alien Queen, and enjoy new campaign missions and locations from the movie.

More details about this upcoming Aliens board game will be released in the coming months. For now, you can check out Free League Publisher's own Alien tabletop RPG or the Aliens vs Predator The Hunt to fill your Xenomorph-slaying void. You can keep up with this game and Gale Force Nine's other products at its official website.
