Warhammer Fest 2022 Day 3 - New Kill Teams Box

First, we have the announcement of a new boxed set coming to Warhammer 40k: Kill Teams. Kill Teams is a much smaller game that focuses on small skirmishes in enclosed areas with infantry units. The new box, Kill Teams: Moroch, will include two new sets of miniatures. The first are the Blooded, members of the Astra Militarium that have defected to the forces of Chaos. While these Militarum Traitorus have been mentioned before in other media, the Blooded mark their debut in Kill Teams. The other army included is the Phobos Strike Team, a covert ops team of Space Marines based on the Incursor/Infiltrator kit. The box will also include new terrain and maps relevant to this small battle in the world of Warhammer 40k.

Warhammer Fest 2022 Day 3 - The Squats Appear in Necromunda

Back on April Fools Day, Games Workshop surprised fans of Warhammer 40k with the announcement that the space dwarves, the Squats, would be returning to the cruel world of the 41st millennium, clarifying later on that it was an actual honest announcement. Now, it seems the Squats will be showing up in another Warhammer 40k spin-off skirmish game, Necromunda.

The new units are called the Ironhead Squat Prospectors. They are full armed miners that brave the harsh outside wastes of Necromunda to mine and salvage precious materials. They are fully armed with not just bolters, but industrial mining lasers. They have no problem using either against anyone that gets in the way of their next payday. The rules for these Prospectors will be included in a new expansion for Necromunda, Book of the Outlands, which will detail their unique rules and mechanics as they brave the ash wastes.
