The Ennie Awards 2021 nominees have been announced, highlighting the best of the tabletop RPG gaming world and with plans to announce the winners during Gen Con 2021.

Every year, the Ennie Awards — also known as "The Ennies" — get together to recognize the best in tabletop RPGs. Partnering with Campaign Coins and Hit Point Press, the annual event recently revealed some shiny new medals designed by Campaign Coins for the winners. It's finally time — the 2021 nominees have been announced!

Who Are the Ennie Awards 2021 Nominees?

The Ennie Awards 2021 nominees consist of dozens of games and developers across more than 20 categories. Here are the nominees of some of the bigger categories for this upcoming event:

The full list of Ennie Awards 2021 nominees features a whole lot more, covering everything from podcasts to accessories and even niche tabletop-centric categories such as "Best Cartography." This is a fan-run event and there are still openings for judges — you can apply to become an Ennies Judge on its website.

There's a little more than a month until the winners will be decided. You can find out who will win the Ennies at a live Stream taking place at Gen Con 2021 on September 17, 2021, at 9:00 PM Eastern.
