Ticket to Ride

With some parts of the world still undergoing strict lockdown measures and restricting people's movement outside their homes, it is good to have activities set up to eat up your time. Board games help bring friends and family together to either collaborate or go up against each other. This is exactly what Days of Wonder's popular board game Ticket to Ride aims to provide with its new free print.

The studio decided to share a new, quick and free print and play version of Ticket to Ride, labeled Ticket to Ride: Stay at Home to make sure it conveys the message. Participating players will take the role of one of the four family members, and you will occasionally have to ask others for help to complete your daily tasks. Not only that, you can spend your day how you want, whether you want to sit in your office to fill out paperwork or spend time on the porch gazing the stars.

Head of home-based playtesting, Jokes Adrien Martinot, expressed Days of Wonder's commitment towards aiding people go through this tough period with some means of entertainment.

As a board game publisher, we are really committed to helping people have fun while staying at home. We started working on this project at the beginning of the lockdown, which gave me the opportunity to stay entertained as well thanks to the playtesting.

Ticket to Ride: Stay at Home requires two to four players, in addition to owning a copy of Ticket to Ride, Ticket to Ride: Europe or Ticket to Ride: Germany to play since it is an expansion. Make sure to download your version from here, and prepare scissors on the side to cut it out.
