Monolith Board Games have launched a 48-hour flash KickStarter project to both distribute the last 2500 copies of Claustrophobia 1643 Collector's Edition and a brand new soundscape set in the world of the board game. For a brief period people from all across the world will have the chance to pick up one of the last 2500 copies of Claustrophobia 1643 Collector's Edition for $89 and on top of that will receive an hour long soundscape which will allow players to become truly immersed in the game's dark, hellish world.
Claustrophobia 1643 is a survival game which pits two players against one another in an epic battle of survival and destruction. One players controls the western warriors while the other controls the infernal forces of hell as they both scrap and battle to destroy each other. Claustrophobia 1643 is also thematically very dark, and featuring some beautiful artwork and miniature sculpting to compliment the harsh, competitive gameplay, making for one hell of an experience. For more information about the game you can check out our review as well as our unboxing of the game and all the components.
Monolith have already said that Claustrophobia 1643 is unlikely to be made available via a traditional retail release so this new KickStarter might be the last chance players have of picking up a copy for quite some time. The project includes a $1 tier for those who only want the soundscape to enhance their game as well as four separate tiers for people in Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia to order copies of the game. Each copy of the game will come with both English and French language version.
