Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

Games Workshop has announced pre-orders for Mortarion, Daemon Price of Nurgle as part of this week’s Nurgle-themed release wave. Not only is the long-awaited primarch’s model available, but the first official codex for the 8th edition of Warhammer 40K as well with the Death Guard codex. This week’s release wave includes several Mortation bundles and limited editions of the Death Guard codex, as well as Nurgle-themed dice and tokens for keeping track of the various plagues and diseases released of the battlefields of the far future. This week’s release wave is set to hit FLGS shelves on September 16th.

Corvus Belli has released the official tournament guide for ITS season 9. Named “Treason”, this season has several new additions and features to the game. Most noticeably is the fact that all TAGs now have the Fatality L1 skill, giving all TAGs a +1 mod to their damage from BS attacks. Another noticeable change is that PanOceania players also get access to their own closed battle lists as a prize for being declared the winner of the Strikezone: Wotan global campaign. The complete ITS season 9 document is currently available from the Corvus Belli website.

Warlord Games has announced the upcoming release of Resurgence, a new rule book for their alternate-history WWII game Konflict ’47. The expansion will contain rules for both the Japanese and Finnish armies along with a consolidation of the various erratas released by Warlord Games throughout the game’s lifespan. The Japanese Army starter set will contain a softcover Konflict ’47 rulebook, 1 Scorpion light walker, 1 Chi-Ha medium tank, 24 infantry, 5 battle exoskeleton infantry, and a collection of markers and dice for $135 USD and is scheduled to ship in early October.

Steamforged Games has begun releasing previews for the upcoming Guild Identity cards for Guild Ball. The first preview was released via the Steamforged blog on September 8th, featuring three new Guild Identity cards for the currently released teams. The Guild Identity cards will give Guild Ball players more variety to their games with additional tactical layers to team construction and gameplay. The preview is currently available from the Steamforged Games blog, with the next update scheduled for release on September 22nd.

And finally, Warcradle Studios has released their first official painting tutorial for Wild West Exodus, focusing on a quick method of painting K9 Gun Dogs with a non-metallic metal (NMM) color scheme. The studio painter was able to finish the model in question in about two hours, though states this result shouldn’t be considered a solid benchmark, particularly if you are not familiar with NMM painting techniques. Warcradle Studios has promised more painting tutorials in the future, so stay tuned for more from Wild West Exodus in the near future.
