Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

Games Workshop has released some additional information on some of the upcoming changes to the Space Marines in the new edition of Warhammer 40K. This edition will see the arrival of Primaris Space Marines, a new sub-faction of the popular Imperial army. The Primaris Space Marines will feature new armor and weapons, and will also be fully compatible with current Space Marine armies regardless of how closely they follow the Codex Astartes. Players will even have the option of creating an entire army of Primaris Space Marines, though doing so will prove to be costly points-wise. A complete FAQ is available here.

Warlord Games has several new releases for Bolt Action. The Germans will be getting a new 20mm Flak 38 cannon and Pak 36 AT gun, while the British will be getting the Mk II Armadillo, Home Guard Artillery, and a unit of snipers. The British will also be getting a rather odd contraption named the Great Panjandrum. Originally designed as a weapon for beachhead invasions, the device consists of two large wooden wheels connected by a central shaft filled with explosives and propelled by rockets in the wheels. The Great Panjandrum also comes with a radio control system upgrade for anyone interested in some of the more esoteric weapons of the Second World War. All models listed are currently available from the Warlord Games web store and on FLGS shelves shortly.

The Red Hammers infantry unit consists of six models in total, with five standard infantry and one officer miniature. The kit also comes with 6 additional weapons, two officer heads, and two pistols, allowing for maximum customizability. The Red Hammers kit is currently available for $25.08 USD from the Raging Heroes web store.

And finally, Steamforged Games has released a preview of the newest Guild Ball team, the Blacksmiths Guild. The new guild will use a paired dynamic focusing on the older Masters debuffing opponents on the pitch allowing the younger Apprentices to either take out their opponents or score a goal. The master/apprentice theme will run throughout the guild as a whole, forcing players to think a bit differently about team composition. The complete guild preview is available on the Steamforged Games blog.
