Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
Corvus Belli released a new video announcing the upcoming Beyond Icestorm and Beyond Red Veil expansion packs for Infinity. These model packs will quickly boost the forces contained in both starter sets to a full 300 points, allowing players to quickly build and paint an ITS-ready army. The army packs contain the following:
- PanOceania - 1x Kamau, Amphibious Intervention Teams (HMG); 1x Swiss Guard (HMG); 1x NeoTerra Bolts (Paramedic)

Games Workshop has several pre-order releases for Blood Bowl and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar available this week. Ths Scarscrag Snivellers, Gouged Eye, Reikland Reavers, and Skavenblight Scramblers teams are now available. The team bundles come with a dozen miniatures, ball markers, turn markers, and a set of team-specific dice as well. Warhammer: Age of Sigmar players can look forward to a trio of Start Collecting! bundles for the Beastclaw Raiders, Fireslayers, and Daemons of Slaanesh.
The latter two options are most interesting, as the Fyreslayers bundle essentially gives players a dozen Fyreslayer miniatures for free by pricing the bundle at the same price as the Magmadroth model by itself. The Daemons of Slaanesh bundle is important because it’s a small sign of Games Workshop’s position on Slaanesh as a whole. Many players have feared that the company would drop Slaanesh from the new game setting in an attempt to make the game more family-friendly. The release of the Start Collecting! bundle hints at this not being the case, though time will tell if the Prince of Excess will have a comparable presence in the Mortal Realms to the other Gods of Chaos.
Warcradle Studios has announced their latest release this last week for Wild West Exodus. The Warrior Nation boss Ghost Wolf is now available for pre-order, both in his regular and Legendary forms. Both miniatures are cast in resin and have a set release date for August 26th. The company also released a list of Last Chance to Buy products that will soon either be repackaged or discontinued, giving players one last chance to pick up anything on their list either in preparation for the upcoming second edition or if you intend on continuing to play the first edition for a while longer. There is currently no set date for the products to be removed from the webstore, so act quickly.
And finally, wargaming scenery company TTCombat currently has a Kickstarter campaign going to fund the development and production of the next edition of their tabletop skirmish game Carnevale. Set in a hellish version of Venice during the Renaissance, the city is flooded with eldritch energies turning the city into a horror-filled reflection of itself with six various factions fighting for control of the city. The campaign will focus on a retooled starter set, new rules, and new miniatures as well. As of this writing, the crowdfunding campaign is currently at over $31,200 USD of its $39,304 goal with 17 days left.
