Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.
Warcradle Studios released some new artwork for several upcoming characters for Wild West Exodus. The stat card artwork Captain Rami Niume, Magenta Alpha, Legendary Walks Looking, and community favorite Bass Reeves are currently available, along with some concept art for the upcoming Enlightened Countess Byron. At the time of this writing, the stat cards for both the Magenta Alpha and Bass Reeves are currently available from the Wild West Exodus website.
Privateer Press has announced its release schedule for April, with several new units and books for Warmachine, with a heavy focus on Khador and Cryx. Khador will be getting Kommander Andrei Malakov, Assault Commander Oleg Strakhov, Forge Seers, and the Forces of Warmachine: Khador Command Book as well. Not to be outdone, the forces of the Dragonfather will be getting Mortenbra, Numen of Necorgenesis, Warcaster Captain Aiakos, the Kharybdis warjack, and the Forces of Warmachine: Cryx Command Book as well.
Mantic Games has announced the start of their Brush With Death painting competition this year. The contest will focus on either a single miniature or a diorama from their recent boxed game The Walking Dead: All Out War. The contest will continue on until midnight GMT Monday, Feburary 20th 2017. Winners will be announced a week later on Feburary 27th. Warlord Games is currently accepting pre-orders for their Battle of the Bulge supplement for Bolt Action. Focusing on one of the greatest battles of not only World War 2 but one of the largest battles in 20th-century history, the 124-page supplement will contain a dozen new scenarios, new units, and new rules compatible with both the first and second editions of the game. Players who pre-order directly from Bolt Action will also receive an exclusive SS-Sturmbannführer Joachim Peiper miniature as well. The Battle of the Bulge supplement is currently scheduled for release on February 11th.
And finally, Games Workshop has announced pre-orders for the Tzeench Archanites faction for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The Karic Acolytes, Ogroid Thamaturge, Fatemaster, Gaunt Summoner, and Curseling, Eye of Tzeentch are currently available for pre-order along with the Battletome: Disciples of Tzeentch book. More miniatures in the new range are expected throughout January, including a new plastic Lord of Change. The first wave of Tzeentch Arcanites are scheduled for release on January 21st; the warscrolls are currently available from either the Games Workshop website or the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar mobile app.
