Hello, TechRaptor readers! Here’s what you may have missed in the world of tabletop wargaming over the last week.

First up is a 3D render preview for the newest Enlightened character for Wild West Exodus, Countess Augusta Byron. A master of both lightning and a dark form of immortality and eternal youth, she can hurl bolts of lightning at attackers or send in one of her undead creations to deal with the foe. According to Warcradle Studios, Countess Byron will be available in April for the 2017 Salute expo. At the time of writing, there is no unit card for Countess Byron.

Knight Models has announced the company will stop making miniatures based on the Marvel comic universe, effectively putting an end to both the Marvel Universe Miniatures Game and the Spider-Man Miniatures Game as well. A specific reason for dropping the model line and the games was not given, though some are speculating the change was due to Disney and Marvel simply making the licensing costs too expensive for a small studio. Knight Models will continue making miniatures and games based on the DC Comics and Harry Potter universes.

Mantic Games has announced several releases for the Trident Realms of Nertica for Kings of War. This release wave also features the first resin miniatures created by Mantic Games’ in-house resin production facilities. The Thuul Troops and Thuul Mythican will be cast in resin, while the Gigas, Riverguard Troops and Riverguard Captain will be cast in metal. A Trident Realm starter force and Mega force is currently available for pre-order with an expected shipping date of February 24th.

Warlord Games has announced the release of the Soviet IS-2 Heavy Tank kit. The model kit will not only contain the plastic components needed to build the IS-2 tank, but also a set of decals, an 8-man infantry squad, stat card and damage markers for use in-game. The IS-2 Heavy Tank is currently available from the Warlord Games web store for $32 USD and should be available in your FLGS as well.

And finally, Games Workshop has announced the next release wave for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The Stormcast Eternals will be getting some reinforcement with the Vanguard-Hunters, the scouting and flanking element of Sigmar’s mighty army. Games Workshop has also finally released a separate pack for Gryph-hounds as well, giving players an easier way to get more of them into their forces without having to buy multiple Lord-Castellants or Lord-Veritants just for the Gryph-hounds.
