Carto and Haven PS4 releases have been confirmed today as part of Sony’s new initiative to give a little love to indie games.

Earlier this morning, Sony announced that it would be revealing nine new indie games making its way to the platform throughout the day. Here’s what Sony has announced thus far today:

Now, these games are going to be joined by Carto and Haven PS4 releases, making for even more great additions to the indie libraries of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5!

The Carto PS4 Release Is Adorable

In the world of Carto, the world can change at your command. Exploring a game can be pretty challenging, but Carto makes it easy by letting you pick up pieces of the map and rearrange them right as you play!

Carto is one of the chiller PlayStation indies revealed today. You don't have to worry about terrifying monsters or anything like that. You're on a journey home, and you'll meet some neat friends and solve puzzles along the way!

No Carto PS4 release date has been confirmed in the blog post announcing this game, but the trailer says that the devs are aiming for a Fall 2020 release. For now, you can still add Carto to your wishlist on Steam.

The Haven PS4 Release Details More Mechanics

As for Haven, we’ve seen a fair bit of this game thus far. While the Haven PS4 announcement is certainly welcome, the PlayStation Blog post also details some more information about the game’s mechanics.

Dual protagonists Yu and Kay share stats — they are, after all, working as a team. You don’t have to worry about getting new equipment or navigating a skill tree. That said, the pair will grow in power throughout the game.

Overall, Haven is looking like a super-chill game that isn’t going to force players to manage their inventory or deal with other micromanagement problems. There wasn’t a Haven PS4 release date announced either, but you can add Haven to your wishlist on Steam for now.

Haven will also be launching on the PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Game Pass in 2020.
