Welcome to Zero Day, where I cover upcoming game releases for Consoles and Personal Computers.

Kicking off Tuesday (9/9) this week is Bungie’s awaited Sci-Fi MMO/FPS Destiny. Destiny takes place in our universe after a major cataclysmic event takes place, leading to the near extinction of humanity. Having been saved by a giant orb floating above humanity's last stronghold known only as “The Traveller”, you play a “Guardian” tasked with defending “The City”. Destiny got major coverage over this year’s Electronic and Entertainment Expo (E3), when the Playstation 4 Alpha went live shortly after Bungie’s conference, and includes music from Sir Paul Mcartney, and the voice work of Peter Dinklage. (PS4/PS3/360/Xbox One, ESRB: Teen)

Also launching on Wensday is Electronic Art’s NHL ’15. The first Next-Gen NHL release, this years launch includes aspects such as crowd interaction, revamped phsyics systems for collisions and the puck, authentic arenas with better details than in previous games, new commentary from Mike Emrick and Ed Olczyk, group celebrations, and an "Ultimate Edition" which include special content for “Ultimate Team Mode”. (Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360. ESRB:Everyone 10+)

3DS owners can look forward to the launch of Cinemax’s “The Keep. A First person Dungeon Crawler, The Keep places you into a dungeon with Monsters to slay, and Puzzles to solve. (3ds e-shop, ESRB: Teen)

PC is getting the most titles this week. Launching Monday is Velocibox from Shawn Beck (PC, Indie), Wednesday sees the release of the Arcade-Plane Racing game Altitude0 from Gugila (PC, Indie), Thursday is getting Time Mysteries:The Final Enigma by Artifex Mundi (PC, Indie).
