Users of the Metacouncil forum have once again spotted another leak, this time of the latest of Rebellion's Zombie Army series. Retail console versions of Zombie Army 4: Dead War were spotted on the Amazon Spain website, with listings for the standard (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) and collector’s (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) editions. According to a Google Translate rendition of the description, fans should expect a return of the "Plan Z" as Europe lies in ruins, torn apart by war and the walking dead. It is 1946. While a band of heroes managed to throw the Führer into hell, they know little about his plans. His hordes of zombies are back for more. You'll be able to face the hordes of darkness in single-player or co-op mode, shooting your way through the undead Nazis.
Following the release of the Zombie Army Trilogy in 2015, there haven't been any Zombie Army games since then. Rebellion recently hinted that they plan to announce a major new unannounced title on the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019, as we reported in our prediction piece. All evidence points to this leak as being the game to be announced.
According to other notes in the Amazon Spain page, players can expect a new campaign for one to four players, with more epic weapons, skills, and improvements. It'll also feature the largest zombie horde mode ever made. And it wouldn't be a Rebellion game without the signature X-ray camera that breaks organs and bones.
Rebellion is also expected to show Sniper Elite VR at E3 2019 (though not at the PC Gaming Show), as well as Evil Genius 2. If you were expecting instead for Sniper Elite 5 to be announced, you'll very likely be disappointed. In either case, stay tuned to TechRaptor for our E3 2019 coverage both on-site and online in the next couple of weeks.
