From the creators of the open-world RPG Genshin Impact comes Zenless Zone Zero, which will be entering its beta testing phase next month. HoYoverse is currently looking for gamers that would like to participate in the closed beta test and leave feedback for them to further develop the game in the right direction.

Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming urban fantasy game that takes place in a terrifying post-apocalyptic world. Those that they call the Ethereal have single-handedly destroyed the world as we know it, leaving a small group of survivors to take the invaders of their home head-on to take back what is rightfully theirs. Players will take on the life of a Proxy, who will recruit others along her journey to help defeat the Ethereals once and for all. Every character comes with their own unique set of abilities and powers that can make for a devastating team when built properly, making for a very neat dynamic.

For gamers who want to take on that life of a Proxy early, they can head to the game's official website and throw their hat in the ring at a shot at the closed beta test. The only thing that needs to be done to enter is to sign up and complete a brief entry survey for the devs to use to make their decisions. The site doesn't specify what qualifications HoYoverse may be looking for in its testers, so those who sign up should remember that signing up will not guarantee a spot.

The recruiting process for the test has begun already and will conclude on July 27, 2022, and the devs will narrow down their chosen few. The beta will then begin on August 4, 2022, and there is no indication of when the beta will end as of yet. The developers mention that this will be a relatively small-scale test and that the game is still deep within its development stage currently. This means that the devs don't want the testers to believe that this will be the final product, as they depend on feedback to help produce a winning game in the end.
