HoYoverse has announced the Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 release date, and it's bringing new characters, a new zone to explore, and much more in just a few days.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 officially launches across PC, PS5, and mobile devices on September 25th, so it'll just be a couple more weeks before you can experience the latest HoYoverse's newest action RPG has to offer.
First up, you'll be heading to a new zone in the form of New Eridu's Outer Ring, an "undeveloped and barren area" that's got plenty of fuel for different groups to fight over. The area will serve as the staging ground for Zenless Zone Zero's newest story chapter.
This being a HoYoverse gacha RPG, you can also look forward to two new characters joining the mix.
Caesar is an S-rank Physical character who can buff allies with shields, debuff enemies, and deal huge damage. She's joined by Burnice, an S-rank Fire Anomaly user who deals big Fire damage thanks to her flamethrowers.
A new Bangboo, Red Moccus, is also being added, and it comes complete with "a customized Bangboo motorcycle". All together now: awww.
You'll also be able to check out a brand new arcade-style minigame called Bizarre Brigade, which you can play at Godfinger. The game essentially gives you the chance to play as different Zenless Zone Zero characters and practise your skills, and you'll be able to obtain special rewards as well.
As well as all of the above, Zenless Zone Zero is also getting optimizations across "several in-game mechanics and features". TV board presentation will be improved across the, erm, board, and you'll be able to get all Observation Data automatically once you've finished exploring said board.
HoYoverse is also giving players a Backup Battery Charge in order to provide more stamina for the game, so you shouldn't run out quite so quickly now.
If you're wondering exactly what Zenless Zone Zero is, it's the latest gacha action RPG from Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse.
Taking place in an urban fantasy setting, Zenless Zone Zero features a more Devil May Cry-inspired hack-and-slash combat system, contrasting with Genshin Impact's elemental action-RPG combat and Honkai: Star Rail's more strategic turn-based approach.
You can check out Zenless Zone Zero right now for free on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. Stay tuned for more on this.
