After a successful launch-to the point where the developers ran out of server space-there's now a Zenith: The Last City roadmap for the first serious VRMMORPG. As it's been the first real attempt at a new genre, it's been a trendsetter and fans and interested parties alike are interested to see where it goes next. Let's get to it, shall we?
What's in the Zenith: The Last City roadmap?
The game launched six days ago, and in that time the game has received server stabilization and increased capacity to the tune of 15%. Shard locking has also been removed so that players can join different servers that their friends are on or for other reasons. Voice chat issues and login issues have also been resolved. Not bad for six days of work.
As for what's coming, with this Zenith: The Last City roadmap, players can now expect to see a bunch of things arriving this month in a minor content update. For instance, in-game alerts will help communicate time-sensitive updates to players, which is useful. There are 23 new sidequests being added, as well as the reworked questline and tutorials so Zenith is easier to get into and less grindy. There's also a new armor tier coming as end-game content and Arboruht tuning, which will make him more challenging and fun.
By the end of the year, players can expect to see player housing, additional lifestyles and crafting, more end game content, the third class (The Cyber Ninja), and more. The Cyber Ninja is "fusion of magic and technology with the sole purpose of taking down enemies with stealth and precision", and has a hookshot that can pull itself towards an enemy, drop an explosive, and then hookshot out to escape. Sounds pretty neat.
