Apogee Entertainment has recently announced the Elements release date for the third-person and open-world adventure title about two siblings searching for 8 Elemental stones while also trying to fulfill their destiny. The game is being developed by Wreckit Games and published by Apogee Entertainment for aiming for a Q4 2022 release on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

As players travel through both our world and the Elemental world, they'll be able to gain Elemental magic through the recovery of Elemental fragments and stones. You'll also be able to use weapons and gear that can either be crafted, gathered, or found while solving puzzles and taming and mounting many of the creatures seen in-game.

The Breath of the Wild Zelda voice actress was hired to voice the female lead in Elements, which was surely a familiar experience for her given how this game looks. She definitely has the credentials for this job. Check out the trailer below:

There's also some building in the game, which means you can build a homestead to store items, farm, or hang out and relax by a fire. You can build more than homestead as well and use them as fast travel points throughout the game. There are also some customization options available if you're into that kind of thing.

As there are two main characters, there's local split-screen co-op available so you and a friend can hunt down all the Elemental stones, which is nice. Local split-screen co-op is something that I really miss compared to the early 2000s where it was everywhere.

The Elements release date is set for Q4 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC. If you want to check out and wishlist the game on Steam, go here.
