We now have a Youtubers Life 2 release date. The game, which will once again allow you to step into the shoes of a YouTube content creator, launches for PC and consoles this October. It'll feature plenty of famous YouTubers including PewDiePie, Crainer, and others.
What is Youtubers Life 2?
Youtubers Life 2 was originally announced back in April this year as a followup to the successful Youtubers Life, which cast players as YouTube content creators attempting to make a name for themselves. As you might expect, Youtubers Life 2 will expand on this idea; you'll need to upload content to multiple apps, keep an eye on content trends, and build relationships with the YouTubers also living in NewTube. Unlike the original, Youtubers Life 2 will offer the entire city of NewTube for you to explore. You'll need to do so if you want to find the hottest spots and topics about which to make your content; you'll be able to seek out areas of the city other creators haven't spotted yet, meaning you'll get the scoop long before they do. You'll also have access to a "cute and customizable" drone, according to a press release, which will follow you around and record your videos for you. Youtubers Life 2 will feature prominent YouTube personalities like PewDiePie (a controversial figure in the YouTube community), Paluten, Willyrex, and others. In addition, you'll now be able to customize your home however you like.
When is the Youtubers Life 2 release date?
Per the aforementioned press release, the Youtubers Life 2 release date is set for October 19th. When it launches, Youtubers Life 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Youtubers Life 2 will set you back $29.99 on PC, with a steeper price point of $39.99 on consoles. All the game needs now is a trigger-happy wave of DMCA takedown notices and it'll be able to simulate the complete online content creator experience.
