Obsidian's latest classic RPG title Tyranny is now live on Steam. The game went semi-under the radar through development (let's face it, it's hard to break through the noise these days among Triple-A marketing budget). The RPG got renew interest from strong sale on Steam (top 2 seller right behind Dishonored 2) and a recent reddit AMA that propelled to the front page - thereby giving the game massive exposure.
As of writing, two authorized retailers are offering release week deal on Obsidian's latest, with the Steam copy at up to 15% off for all editions of the game:
- Tyranny Commander Edition (Steam) — $38.20 (list $45)
- Tyranny: Archon Edition (Steam) — $50.50 (list $60)
- Tyranny: Overlord Edition (Steam) — $67.50 (list $80)
While most people will be buying the standard base Commander Edition of the game, we've spotted a healthy 5-10% of people buying the pricier Archon and Overlord Edition. Full details on each edition can also be found on the Steam page of the game (look for the "Read more" button).
No expiration dates are noted on the Tyranny deal above, but if it expires, you'll be able to find other deals here.
