Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to PC on May 9th. It'll be available via Steam. Looks like that ESRB rating wasn't for naught after all.
The game is currently available to pre-order via Valve's platform for $29.99. If you pre-order the game, you'll receive the Clan Creator Bundle DLC. This pack bundles in a whole bunch of cards for Yakuza Kiwami 2's Clan Creator tower defense mode. Cards include Leader cards like Daigo Dojima, Goro Majima, and everyone's favorite Dragon Kazuma Kiryu. You'll also receive some extra weapons, some fun outfits (wanna see the Dragon of Dojima in pajamas?), and some in-game bonuses. You can still grab the Clan Creator Bundle separately, but pre-ordering the full game will net you all this stuff for no extra cost. Check out the PC release trailer below:

According to Sega, the Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC release is "fully optimized" for the platform. PC players will be able to enjoy 4K resolution and unlocked framerates, as well as fully customizable controls and "robust" graphics options. If you've ever wanted to watch a very serious man beat up another very serious man with a bowl of noodles in 4K, then here's your chance. Otherwise, it's still the same Yakuza Kiwami 2 that came out for PS4 back in August last year.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a full remake of the PlayStation 2's Yakuza 2. The game sees ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu once again exploring Kamurocho and attempting to prevent a war between two rival yakuza clans. You can pick the game up on Steam for $29.99 on May 9th, or you can grab it for PS4 right now. In the meantime, if you need any more convincing, check out TechRaptor's review of the PS4 version. Suffice to say those of us who still haven't played this one will be snapping it up next month.
