On May 29, 2015 XSEED Games announced two new titles for the PlayStation Vita system, Corpse Party: Blood Drive and Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is the final installment of the series and ups the ante by allowing players to explore Heavenly Host Elementary School in full 3D for the very first time. New gameplay systems include a dynamic lighting system aided by an in-game flashlight, traps to disarm, spaces to hide in, a stamina system that allows limited time to run away and much more. Blood Drive retains the original Japanese voices in keeping with the other entries in the series and brings back the binaural 3D audio for simulated surround-sound.

The game will be available in a physical "Everafter Edition", marking the first time the series has received a physical release in North America, and as a digital download on the PlayStation Store. The Everafter Edition will include a two-disc soundtrack set and an artbook, both featuring art and music from all three titles in the Corpse Party series. Both editions will be available in the fall of 2015.

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space stands as the direct predecessor to the series' North American debut - Earth Defense Force 2017 - and is regarded by fans as the best entry in the series. This greatly expanded remake marks the games' very first appearance in North America and will allow players to take on the roles of three different military classes in the fight against a horde of giant insects.

Originally released in Japan for the PlayStation 2 system, this enhanced definitive version includes a number of improvements including four-player online co-op, an entirely new Air Raider class and a brand new English dub. Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space will be available as a physical release and as a digital download in the fall of 2015.
