Games with Gold

Dean Shimabukuro, the Sr. Marketing Program Manager for Xbox, has announced January 2021's Games With Gold that will be released throughout the month. The games include Little Nightmares, Dead Rising, The King of Fighters XIII, and Breakdown. Want some more details? Check them out below:

  • Little Nightmares (normally $19.99) will be available from January 1 to January 31. Players will help their character, Six, survive The Maw, which is a "massive and mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking to make you their next meal." Players will be able to reconnect with their childhood and unleash their imaginations to escape their not-so-little nightmare in this atmospheric horror title.
  • Dead Rising (normally $19.99) will be available from January 16 to February 15. A remake of the classic Xbox 360 horror title, the player is Frank West, a photojournalist who has 72 hours to fight off a zombie horde in a shopping mall using all kinds of funky weapons.
  • The King of Fighters XIII (normally $29.99) is available from January 1 to January 15. It is an upgraded version of the original arcade title where players can use their Hyper Drive power gauge to pwn their opponents straight into the stratosphere.
  • Breakdown (normally $9.99) is available from January 16 to January 31. As Derick Cole, the player is trapped inside a mysterious lab and can't remember why. He must break out of the lab using his newfound developed powers in this first-person action-adventure title.
