Today Microsoft revealed a new Xbox wireless controller, the Stellar Shift Special Edition.
The controller, which is already available in some markets, comes with a blue-purple shimmer that continues the trend started with the Aqua Shift and Lunar Shift special editions. As usual, it's priced at $69.99 and it's already available in some markets.
It even includes a swirly pattern on the rubberized grips adding further flair to the whole look, and it unlocks a space-inspired dynamic background on Xbox Series X|S consoles when you connect the controller to them.
As usual, the controller works on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, but you can also connect it via Bluetooth to any PC, iOS, and Android.
Microsoft has been very active in releasing new wireless controllers for its Xbox consoles going from the simple to the catchy. Of course, you can also get your own customized version with the Xbox Design Lab, which lets you choose the colors for both the normal wireless controller and the Elite version. At the moment, this feature still doesn't have a rival in the console industry.
Of course, the Stellar Shift Special Edition is pretty much a normal Xbox Wireless Controller under the special coat of paint, so it comes with all the features you're used to from this kind of peripheral.
